Coping Strategies Wanted
One thing in my life that I am not coping well with at all is the insufferable conference call that I am subjected to on a weekly basis. I mean, look at me! Pathetic, aren't I?
Right there with you on the conference calls. I wish I had thought of taking my own photo during one and posting it. Oh well - missed that chance.
Anyhow, Buzzword Bingo is always fun, if you have any partners in misery. Or, if you have PiM and an instant message program, MST3K-ing the whole thing is often quite the stress reliever.
"You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting,
You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine."
-- from "Wild Geese" by Mary Oliver

PS - also, try reading PURPS (although you'll want to make sure you have yourself muted):

You should submit that photo to FARK for their Photshop contests. . . .
Actually, I think you look kinda cute in a mournful John Milton sort of way...
