The Difference Between Us and Them, Chapter One

From an interview with Paris Hilton:

AP: What did you want to be when you were a little girl?

Hilton: A veterinarian, but then I realized I could just buy a bunch of animals.

Remember the Halloween Simpsons where the advertising mascots come alive and they can only be defeated by Paul Anka's "Just Don't Look" jingle?

That's what we need to do with Paris Hilton. Stop watching and she'll disappear.

Well, her cinematic debut in this weekend's "House of Wax" is being panned almost universally. Maybe this is the beginning of the end of her very long 15 minutes.

Until then, I will follow your advice.

"Paris? You mean the capital of France?"

I'm not a Paris fan...but I don't see a lot wrong with that quote. She's been a lot dumber than that, I'm sure.

Y'know, this comment isn't limited to Paris Hilton. Whenever Mark tells some folks that he's a veterinarian, he often gets a similar remark.
