Wow, this is actually quite timely for me. Yesterday I found myself getting disgusted with members from the Christian Union (a college group for evangelicals who were on Terry Gross' Fresh Air show.) Whenever she asked them how they felt about the homosexuals on their campuses, they used that as an opportunity to express their fundamentalist beliefs. The best they could say was "well, we don't mix with them very much."
It's so encouraging to see that there evangelicals trying to build bridges than reinforcing the divide.
